Colorado River Paddle

Sixteen swimmers, parents, and coaches will paddle a 25 mile stretch of the Colorado on Sunday, January 27. Assuming we all survive, there will be some great stories to tell and pictures to share ! We will depart from the Days Inn (Lake Havasu City) parking lot at 7 AM. All those involved should have received a what-to-bring list from Coach Andersen or Coach Curtis.

New AZQ (State) and AZR (Regional) Times

are now posted on our Swimmer’s Page !

Sweetheart Raffle

The winter fund raiser will be a raffle … Top prize $500, $250 for second, and $100 for third. Tickets will be $5 each. Sales will end February 8 and the drawing will be held on February 14 (Valentine’s Day … Sweetheart … get it). Everyone should have received their tickets by now … if not, see Troy Maryniak TODAY !

The winter fundraising obligation is $200 ($300 with two children and $360 with three + children) and will appear on your next invoice.

This fund raiser is VERY important and we really NEED everyone to do a great job.

The Early Bird Sellers’ Raffle on January 9 was won by the Hiebers ! They received a $50 gift card from Target. Congratulations to the Hiebers and BIG THANK YOU to all of those that sold their ticks early and participated in the Sellers’ Raffle.

Golf Tournament

The Tournament is fast approaching ! Attached to this e-mail are the new, new sponsorship and team sign-up forms. As far as sponsors go ... we would like to ask those with ties in the business community to help. If you know of a business or three that might be willing to sponsor this event, give that information to a member of the Golf Committee (their names appear on the attached letters/flyers). The sponsorship drive will be much more successful if we have a contact person at the businesses being solicited ... and if you called that person to let them know that a committee member would be contacting them, even better !

One last point regarding the Golf Tournament ... when we get this event up and running it will produce revenue. That will be revenue we do not have to generate through other fund raining activities (like raffles) ! Once established, this event will allow us to reduce the family fund raising obligations !!!
