Stuff …
The weather has begun to turn … perhaps not
for good, but as the swimmers will attest, the water has gotten cooler. The
coaches will monitor the water temp and will adjust practices accordingly.
There may be some additional dry-land work to keep the swimmers training during
this cooler weather. Marcus Pool should have more consistent heating
!!!
Parents’
Night Out: Pat
& Annalisa McBride will host a Parents’ Night on October 27. “The Lot”
is located at 574 S. Orange Avenue.
The night will include dinner (5 PM) followed by Poker & Blackjack (6:30
PM). Tickets will be $15 per person and can be purchased from Troy Maryniak.
We
will be moving to Marcus
Pool on Thursday, November 1 ! The practice schedule will
remain as is until Monday, November 5. The Winter Schedule will be put out next week.
Meet Info
We have made a change !!! Instead of the Palomar “AB” in San
Marcos, CA, our November meet will
be a NTS at Scottsdale November 16-18. Between the fires in San Marcos (though they may not be a problem by the meet
date) and the restrictive meet qualifying standard; the Scottsdale meet started looking like a better
fit. The Scottsdale
meet will be a NTS (No Time Standard) meet … meaning everyone
is eligible and it is still three week prior to our December meets.
Because of this change, there will be NO MINI MEET in November.
