The Winter season is about done and to finish it off in style, we will swim a final Mini Meet followed by a Pot Luck Dinner. There might just be a few extra (fun ?) events tacked onto the end of the meet. The meet should end around 6 PM with fun and food immediately after.

For the Pot Luck, we would like EVERYONE to bring a Main Dish AND …

The AEA Direct Withdrawal paperwork is in !!!

The forms are attached and should be downloaded/printed and filled out this week. We ask that EVERYONE complete the form … even if you are not going to participate in the program. Return them to our Registrars at (Alison Keough & Nancy Jones) at Thursday’s Mini Meet/Pot Luck Dinner.

Banquet: Friday, April 13

The Heat’s annual team banquet is just around the corner. It will be hard to beat Coach Kwan’s 2006 menu, but the Chili’s and Olive Garden Restaurants will be catering this year’s event and that don’t sound too bad !

Awards will be presented for Most Improved by age group as well as Outstanding Age Group Swimmer, Outstanding Senior Swimmer, and Volunteer of the Year

As with the past two years, swimmers (and those under 10 years old) will be free, adults $10 and children $5.

An invitation/RSVP was sent Monday (but it is also attached here).

Because we are about to go on break, RSVP by Thursday, March 29 !!!

State Wrap-Up

Fifteen Heat Swimmers participated in the 2007 Arizona Age Group & Senior Championships at Brophy Prep in Phoenix … and they swam GREAT.

A full season review will be presented at the banquet next month, but for now …

Katelyn Weddle (16) qualified for the USA Junior National Championships (August in Indianapolis) and US Open Championships (December in Atlanta) in the 100 & 200 Breaststrokes !!!

Myriah Frabasilio (14) qualified for the Speedo Sectional Championships (Portland, OR in July) in the 200 Freestyle !

There were great Senior level swims.
