Practice Variations
Please be aware of the upcoming
practice changes !!! Monday, June 5th will
see the start of the Sandshark Summer Team at Marcus,
and the Red 3’s will move to Kennedy (afternoons).
Effective immediately, afternoon Senior practice will end at 6 PM. The city has decided to
open Kennedy during the week … at 6:15 PM.
Friday, June 2: Morning Practice
will be from 5:30-7 AM. No afternoon practice for the
Saturday, June 3: No Practice
Wednesday, June 14: Kennedy
practices will be from 4-5:15 PM (there is a party scheduled).
Swim-A-Thon
The Swim-A-Thon information and initial pledge envelopes have been distributed to the swimmers. If you have not received this information, see your coach TODAY ! Information is also posted on the NEWS !! page of our website.
This is the team’s primary fund-raiser and EVERYONE is expected to participate. The Heat Board of Directors has made a special effort to keep monthly fees as low as possible. Your fees cover the very basic operations, but in order to be a GREAT program, additional monies must be generated.
If you would like to swim the IVSL meets, must pay the IVSL membership fee of $11. This fee must be paid by Tuesday, June 13. Please make this a separate check and write IVSL on the check. The check should be made payable to Yuma Heat.
